CONSERVATION EASEMENTS
- A conservation easement is an agreement between a landowner and an organization in which a written easement states that the owner agrees to sell or donate their development rights. Building envelopes can be negotiated for improvement sites. The property can remain in private ownership and the easement runs with the ownership of the property.
